      its not breaking it but be careful while u update try downloading any cfw from google i may suggest u Rogero 4.55 then while installinh make sure that your ps3's bd Rom is empty (there should be no disk in ps3 or the ps3 will find update from that disk and then you wont be able to update to Cfw and remain stuck on Ofw) then install multiman and transfer the game to your ps3 by some external hdd or some usb drive ...
