Encoders notes...

This is my largest and most comprehensive release to date. Yes, there are a couple of other BSG packs around. Why did I decide to do this one? As good as the other packs were, I found they were either overkill on filesize and bitrate or not good enough quality for such a special series. Also, native compatibility with PS3 and Xbox 360 is provided with my encode. So, with this pack, you will get 3000 video bitrate for all HD video files. Each HD video file also has 640 kbs audio (or highest possible from its source) with 5.1 sound. Credit goes to Sinners and Halcyon for putting the work in to produce the MKV files which were used as sources. The exact source pack used was 'Battlestar Galactica Complete Series 720p BluRay HDDVD AC3 x264' for those interested.

Keep in mind that some may be skeptical to watch Battlestar because they are not usually into Sci-Fi. I know a ton of people who love this series because of the writing. The storyline , the characters and plot are arguably the best of any series. It makes no difference that it takes place in space, but it is kinda cool for people who enjoy that setting.


Subtitles are included for all episodes and specials.

I've downloaded and watched the first 2 seasons, here is what I found.

In part 2 of mini-series the audio is messed up in most parts and there is a minor video glitch, lasts only a second. Season 1 Ep 6 & 7 both have the same video glitches at around 2:00 and 37:00 respectively, only lasting a second or two. Season 2 Ep 17 & 18 have a lot of graininess in them, Video is 7.

I used Mkvmerge and delayed the audio, on part 2 miniseries, by 3 ms, seemed to help fix most of it.

Sometimes audio and video aren't in sync and the subs aren't the best but overall a good quality download. Took some time to download but well worth it.
