Law of the Dragon examines the way in which the Chinese legal system is trying to cope with the myriad recent dramatic changes to Chinese life and society by following the fortunes of a provincial legal practice, the Tiger Law Firm of Chengdu.

Judge Chen presides over the case of Lin, who has filed for divorce from her husband Wang.

2) Love Thy Neighbour
Neighbours fight over the ownership of a vital bridge in the village.

3) Death of an Only Child
Judge Chen hears the sad case of a family who are attempting to hold a school responsible for the suicide of their only son.

4) Mother and Son
Judge Chen listens to complaints of a mother who is suing her son for maintenance.
