Malcolm, docent aan de universiteit, vormt samen met zijn twee huisgenoten een computerhackers trio, Beacon 77 genaamd. Met enorm geavanceerde apparatuur kunnen ze inbreken op vrijwel alle netwerken ter wereld. Na maandenlange voorbereiding beginnen ze hun grootste klus ooit. Ze kraken een mysterieus netwerk, dat hen toegang zou moeten geven tot de vierde dimensie en kennis van alle gebeurtenissen in toekomst, heden en verleden. Uitgerekend op deze avond verschijnen Sarah en Zoe, twee van Malcolm's studentes in zijn appartement. De komst van de meiden zet een schijnbaar toevallige samenloop van omstandigheden in beweging die leidt tot onverklaarbare en levensgevaarlijke gebeurtenissen. Is het toeval dat de groep op deze avond bij elkaar kwam? Of zit er meer achter deze omstandigheden die leiden tot manipulatie, paranoia en moord?

Two young women arrive at a curious penthouse apartment, led by one's crush on her tutor. However, her love interest doesn't live alone. He's part of a trio of computer hackers about to embark on the ultimate job on the world's most mysterious mainframe. Whilst doing so, they unlock more than they bargain for with supernatural and ultimately fatal results. Can this seemingly insignificant chain of events, which have thrown this group together, be construed as fate? Can the beacon provide a signal of hope or is it a web of manipulation, paranoia and ultimately... murder?
