Worked for me! (Mac Air - Mavericks)
Keep in mind that Beamer must be closed during these first steps.
1. Unzip the two files
2. Open KG
3. Put in your name and surname in the first row
4. Click "Patch" and choose the unzipped Beamer
5. Generate
6. double click the generated license
7. Close KG
8. Open Beamer
9. Choose License when it pops up.
10. Enter the name you've put in the KG and the license.
