In the early years of the 20th Century, in what remains of the American Wild West, two ex-army adventurers hire themselves out as troubleshooters, along with their new-fangled horseless carriage, a Stutz Bearcat. In this episode, called to investigate a series of raids against Mexican towns along the American border, Hank and Johnny discover that German troops disguised as American soldiers are committing these raids in order to plunge the United States into a war with Mexico.
