Bengt Huhta - Indian Girl (Size: 88.95 MB)
Description
Here's the late sequel to my early Kristian post. "Indian Girl" pretty much picks up where "Kristian" (1972) left off, as side A follows the same hippy pop vein. Only this time the music is more mature and polished. On side B Huhta does some rockier material, which adds a welcome edge to this record.
Strong support provided by Ronnie Österberg and Aikka Hakala (drums), Heikki Virtanen (bass), Antero Jakoila, Nono Söderberg and Hasse Walli (guitar), Hillel Tokazier (piano), Sakari Kukko (Indian flute), Tapani "Nappi" Ikonen (percussion) et. al. In fact, having a different set of musicians on every song shows how much effort Huhta put to this record. Sadly, commercially speaking, it was all to nowt. "Indian Girl" was met with poor sales. Today it's sold for approx. 75 Euros, which is outrageous. No record is worth all that money. 1. Beginning 2. You're My Girl 3. Indian Girl 4. Sadman 5. Dreams of Yesterday 6. Poet 7.
