According to Beyonce, after wrapping up her role on the upcoming Dreamgirls, she went into the studio without telling anyone but her producers [not even her parents or former Destiny's Child members Kelly and Michelle]. Beyonce left her vacation early to record the album in 2 weeks, recording three songs a day, and submitted it to the record label to their surprise. She stated on MTV's Total Request Live that she worked with her all-star team of producers on this record. Beyonce also said that some American music stores will have B'Day for sale on September 4, 2006. The first released single of the upcoming album is Deja Vu which is currently climbing the world charts. In the US, Deja Vu has become Beyonce's 7th Top 5 hit. It topped the UK Singles Chart.
