Marvelous wrap-up of the tour of New York City venues!! :-)
I sort of suspected that, having seen Bjork play that incredible show last Wed, March 25, the temptation would win - and it did! I snatched tickets for my friend and I this afternoon, headed to the pick-up spot straight from work and then to the venue. So very happy I did! Bjork reshuffled the set-list a bit, with Atom Dance replacing Notget in the first set, and doing a really majestic wrap-up with Mouth Mantra wearing an undescribable giant yellow bubbly thing (not featured last Wednesday :) )
Now, I was in a different location this time - same distance from the stage, but very much stage right - across from that side stack. By ear, the bass/drums seemed a bit overpowering at times which got me worried - but I am not hearing any ‘damage’ in the product (I know my ears are overly sensitive to this sort of thing). Now, the audience was definitely more active this time around, and I had one particularly loud whooo-er next to me who made me think of duct tape after every song. FORTUNATELY ‘AFTER’ - not so much ‘during’. I am sure BLG will do his magic zapping this outlier-screamer (many thanks to him, as always, for all the work!)
Let me say this again: Black Lake, Mouth Mantra, Atom Dance 2nd half are all so much more outgoing live relative to studio versions - I could listen to these on and on…

Enough said - hope you like the product of this unplanned outing ;)
