This a 2008 adaptation (as opposed to the 1985 version) of the classic Noel Coward comedy.

For anybody who has spent their life in deepest Amazonia and is not aware of the plot, successful author Charles Condomine lives in rural England with his second wife Ruth. Needing to get background colour for his next novel, he invites local medium, the eccentric Madame Arcarti, to hold a seance at his house. The seance goes only too well, for Madame Arcarti conjurers up the spirit of his dead first wife Elvira.

Just one problem - only Charles can see or hear her......
