On Saturday, March 12, 2005, at the historic Ridglea Theater in Fort Worth, TX, 1970's classic Hard Rock band and Capitol recording artists BLOODROCK reunited for a one-time special concert event for the benefit of their keyboard player, STEVE HILL, who has leukemia. The long awaited reunion concert of original members JIM RUDLEDGE, LEE PICKENS, STEVE HILL, NICK TAYLOR and ED GRUNDY was captured on video and with this dvd release, fans who were unable to attend the show can enjoy a live BLOODROCK concert for the very last time. BLOODROCK toured the U.S. and Canada during the early 70's, performing at legendary rock venue Filmore East, in N.Y., Whiskey a-GoGo in L.A., and the Atlanta Pop Festival. They toured with other major acts during the 70's, including Grand Funk Railroad, Jimi Hendrix, Fleetwood Mac, It's a Beautiful Day, and Cactus. BLOODROCK recorded 8 albums for Capitol Records. Their second album, BLOODROCK II, containing the hit, D.O.A., was certified gold by the RIAA.
