Trama :

Elwood ( Dan Aykroyd ) , uno dei due fratelli Blues, esce di prigione e viene a sapere della morte del fratello Jake ( John Belushi ) e di Curtis ( Cab Calloway ) , figura paterna ai tempi dell'orfanotrofio. Elwood viene contattato ancora una volta dalla Suora Mary Pinguina Stigmata, che questa volta gli chiede aiuto per raccogliere fondi e costruire un ospedale per bambini. Elwood riunisce così la band ancora una volta, con il figlio illegittimo di Curtis, Cab ( Joe Morton ) , e un giovane orfano di nome Buster ( J. Evan Bonifant ) . La Blues Brothers Band al completo partecipa poi alla Battle of Bands di New Orleans per vincere il premio finale e finanziare la costruzione dell'ospedale.
