Bonneville - Let's Go Rockabilly - By Barrymac (Size: 70.14 MB)
Description
Listening to music like this makes my hair curl up, my Teddy Boy blood run hot and my boppin' legs go wild. This is the kind of music that was played in England in the 70s, simple straight forward Teddy Boy rock 'n' roll. As the likes of Flying Saucers, Crazy Cavan & The Rhythm Rockers, Crepes 'n' Drapes, Black Cat and many more. Nothing fancy, no expensive equipment or state of the art studios, just plain old rockabilly, straight from the heart. These guys played rock 'n' roll because they loved it! And they did it the only way they knew how: the Teddy Boy way!
These sixteen tracks must have been recorded somewhere in the late 70s and/or early 80s, the recording dates are not mentioned on the CD cover, and most likely nobody knows exactly when anymore. Surely it was before 1982, because that was when lead guitarist Mike Pettett was replaced by the infamous ex Crepes 'n' Drapes and Chevrolet rhythm guitarist Ian Smith. The recordings Ian made with Bonneville can be heard on the Nervous CD "Trouble". Songs like "Ghostriders in the Sky", "Lonesome Train" and "One Hand Loose" were also recorded by Bonneville with Ian Smith on guitar, but these tracks remain unissued so far Let's Go Rock-A-Billy, Bonneville Bonneville - 01-Crazy Rock Bonneville - 02-I Got A Baby Bonneville - 03-Save It Bonneville - 04-She's The One To Blame Bonneville - 05-One Night Bonneville - 06-Ghost Riders In The Sky Bonneville - 07-Rock Rock Rock'n'roll Bonneville - 08-Lonesome Train Bonneville - 09-Teenage Boogie Bonneville - 10-Gonna Rock'n'Roll Bonneville - 11-Seven Nights To Rock Bonneville - 12-One Hand Loose Bonneville - 13-What You Gonna Do Bonneville - 14-Rockin Daddy Bonneville - 15-Rockin Rollin Mama Bonneville - 16-Breaker 1-9 PLEASE SEED - ENJOY - AND SAY THANKS Sharing Widget |
