Description

Boom is a system wide volume booster and equalizer application that effortlessly improves the sound of your Mac.

Using Boom is easy. It works like the volume controls of your Mac to boost the sound; making it a louder, clearer and better sounding experience.

Boom can boost them all! From videos on YouTube to your favorite music/video playing on iTunes, Spotify and Netflix. Even video chats through Skype and FaceTime can now be audible!
Use equalizing presets such as Jazz, Acoustic, Classical and many more or just customize your very own preset to something unique.

Boom is now accessible with localized “Help File” support in five additional languages: German, French, Italian, Spanish and Simplified Chinese.

To improve the audio quality of the Mac in-built speakers, Boom works its magic perfectly on the latest Macbook Pro and Macbook Air and the new iMac.

All Comments

There's no files on License Folder :s :( Can't activate it :s
if you read all the comments you will find the fix.
Inter95 - Thanks for the upload it works fine. There were however few extra steps I had to take.
- The .zip file is downloading however empty so I had to download each file individually.
- The downloaded files were saved on the License folder on the Desktop without dot (.) at the front.
- I copied the files via command line without dot mentioned in the read me.rtf
- Then ulocked hidden file and folder and added dot by renaming the 2 files.
I worked fine after that.
Awesome app and sound boost is unreal
My ears are ringing already.
Cheers
that's another issue, first delete the file that you copied to ~/Library/._libSupport and ~/Library/Application Support/._diskProp, then uninstall with option "removes all registration info" maybe that fix your problem.
ok i got it. i generated an invalid key to produce same error "re-validate" here the fix
1 - uninstall Boom with AppCleaner open AppCleaner click on Applications tab, select boom and click search then click on delete.
2 - delete "BoomDevice.kext" locate in /Library/Extensions
3 - open a terminal and type rm ~/Library/Caches/.libVer
4 - type rm ~/Library/._libSupport and remove the other1 rm ~/Library/Application Support/._diskProp
5 - install Boom then copy back the 2 files that you deleted on step 4.
Good Luck!
it happened to me one time, type in a terminal rm ~/Library/Caches/.libVer then copy back ._libSupport and ._diskProp
Thank you! It works fine and registered
try this one License Folder
select all 3 files, download then unzip to your Desktop. cd to License folder and run this command. chmod +x Boom.command finally, double click on Boom.command. Done.
use keka instead of native mac compresor to unzip it.
no issue here working fine
the commands don't work with either of the license folders. no such file or directory. ls -a comes up with nothing
use keka to unzip the folder file and make sure to unzip to Desktop. for some reason the native compresor from mac didn't work for me.
keka got it working, thanks.
Glad it worked for you.
worked for a couple days then gave me an 'unofficial copy' message. :/ not gonna try again
try the steps above. the one that you have to remove ".libVer"
Just unzip to your Desktop then run the commands from ReadMe file, you can't see anything because they are hidden files. if you want to see them. cd to License folder then type in the terminal ls -a
