Booxter 2.7.14 - Mac OS X

Booxter helps you track your collections of books, music, movies and comics on your Mac. It is powerful, fun, and easy to use.

Don't forget to download the free iPhone companion app that will scan barcodes into Booxter and also let you export your collections to your iPhone or iPod Touch!

Booxter has 3 viewing modes to make it easy to manage your items:
-List: A standard list of items, row-by-row, with columns that you can customize.
-Filter: Lets you drill down by various attributes to quickly and easily find what you are looking for.
-Tag: Illustrates item counts by their sizes in a large grouping of tags.

There are 3 ways to scan barcodes and have items added to Booxter.
-Video: Use your iSight video camera (or other webcam or camcorder) to scan in barcodes visually.
-Wireless: Use a Bluetooth barcode scanner to scan in barcodes wirelessly.
-USB: Use a tethered USB barcode scanner to enter barcodes quickly and easily.

(Barcode scanning can be done with books, music and movies; comic book barcode scanning is not currently supported).

Booxter can search many different online sources. More are being added. If you would like a certain source supported, let us know.

There are 3 ways to print from Booxter.
-Single item: Print out a single item per page.
-Multiple items: Print out multiple items per page, like a spreadsheet.
-Labels: Print out labels that you can attach to your items.

Lending: Keep track of items that you've lent out, integrated with your Address Book.

Booxter te ayuda a gestionar tus colecciones de libros, música, películas y cómics en tu Mac. Es rápida, potente, divertida y fácil de usar.

Booxter tiene 3 modos de visualización para hacer que la gestión de los objetos sea más sencilla:
-Vista de Lista: una lista estándar de objetos, fila por fila, con columnas que puedes personalizar.

-Vista Etiqueta: muestra contadores de objetos por su tamaño en un grupo grande de etiquetas.

Es muy sencillo añadir un objeto a Booxter. Se puede hacer manualmente, importarlo desde ficheros de texto u otros programas o arrastrar y soltar URLs desde páginas web en Booxter. Booxter buscará en las páginas que tú indiques para completar toda la información que necesites.

También puedes escanear códigos de barras y hacer que Booxter los añada. Hay 3 maneras de hacerlo:
-Vídeo: utiliza tu iSight (u otra webcam o videocámara) para escanear códigos de barras en una ventana de video.
-Inalámbrica: utiliza un escáner Bluetooth de códigos de barras para escanear códigos de barras sin necesidad de cables.
-USB: utiliza un escáner de códigos de barras USB para introducir códigos de barras de manera rápida y sencilla.

(El escaneo de códigos de barras está admitido para libros, música y películas; el escaneo de códigos de barras para cómics no es, por el momento, compatible.)

Imprimir es sencillo. Hay 3 maneras de hacerlo:
-Un solo objeto: imprime un solo objeto por página.
-Múltiples objetos: imprime múltiples objetos por página como si fuese una hoja de cálculo.
-Etiquetas: imprime etiquetas para pegarlas posteriormente a los objetos.

Otras interesantes funcionalidades:
-Crea listas dinámicas inteligentes para ayudarte a gestionar las cosas de manera sencilla.
-Importa desde ficheros de texto delimitados por comas o tabulaciones o desde otros muchos productos.
-Exporta a una gran variedad de formatos, incluyendo CSV, XML, HTML, BibTeX, MLA y muchos más.
-Exporta a iPhone/iPod Touch: con la aplicación gratuita asociada, lleva tus bibliotecas contigo cómodamente.
-Exporta a un iPod Classic más antiguo.
-Sigue la pista de objetos que has prestado, con integración con tu Agenda.
-Juega a adivinar preguntas sobre los objetos de tu colección.
