when you use the plugin in audacity, you set audacity to export as a certain file type of your choice i think. I use only FLAC so I always have it set to that.

oh and if you want to reconvert your declipped files, use the Foobar2000 program.

it brings the volume down to add more room for peaks i think

oh and if you want to restore bass, on say an album like Raw Power or And Justice for All; two albums that literally have NO BASS, you'll never do that without the multitrack masters.

the bass sounds the same when i do my remasters. Cant say much to restore that. Maybe its just you; dunno what to tell you. Just saying because i never had that problem myself.

buddy, it can be used for any genre if you will, but if you want to tweak it, just use this as a reference.
