Bubbles X is shareware – this means you may try the software at no charge, however, to remove the “unregistered” notices, you must purchase a registration code through PayPal. The cost of registration is only $2.79.

The story behind Bubbles X

I love macs… I always have. Thus, it was an object of consternation when my lovely wife fell for Windows Vista upon seeing their bubbles screensaver. Naturally, I wanted to keep the Mac at home. As you may have noticed from this site, I’ve been developing little things for the Mac OS and other platforms for many years, so the thought crossed my mind now and then to write a port of Bubbles for Mac OS X.

5 Weeks later, Bubbles X came into being … the Mac stayed, and now I have trouble getting to use it myself.

And with that, I present the Mac OS X port of the Bubbles screensaver. Give it a try and download it today… it is, after all, free to try!
