A no glitter, all guts cop named Frank Bullitt(Steve McQueen) - with two other cops - is assigned to what seems like a normal case: to watch a witness for 48 hours before he goes to trial on Monday. When one officer and the witness are injured, Walter Chalmers gets angry at Bullitt. After he chases the hit-men that shot them, he vows to catch them, and the mafia boss that hired them.
This movie is contains the famous car chase scene in downtown San Francisco which made it an instant classic. It also co-stars the beautiful Jacqueline Bisset in her prime.
