A total of 24 tracks can be heard, including at least 20 exclusive tracks that can be found on any other compilation. My own experience to the musical spectrum of really great new tracks from the already mentioned artists that fall all the top quality level ranges over some exotic ("The Bliss" by Talvin Singh) some classic ("Gymnastics" by Ganga) inspired Related to relatively unobtrusive pop songs. Overall, the album is without a doubt a lot better and not as arbitrary and without profile as many of the latest "Café del Mar" spending since 2003. The reactivation of many top acts that had already finished the first CdM grandiose spending by 2000 is a good step. However, no new impulses or innovations can be seen. Has heard it all before anyway once. This was different than the first Café del Mar compilations created something completely new and the large lounge / chill-wave has been started and the DJ, who chose the songs for the album, even to stardom. Furthermore, the question remains whether it have to have to be a double album. In the early days it was customary to publish a CD with a running time of around 70 minutes. Here are 2 CDs with each slightly less than one hour runtime. Less is often more, and only the truly standout tracks on one CD I would not call it a disadvantage ... 4 stars, however, are already there, because actually includes "volume Dieciocho" everything you expect from a good compilation of the genre. Real failures are not recorded, different sounds and styles were integrated very professional in the tracklist. Variety is certainly warranted, the album is by no means over, without any recognition effect on one. One star deduction for the lack of courage to take risks and to really make something new.
