Description
The serial is about great Indian Emperor, Ashoka, grandson of Chandragupta Maurya, who played a crucial role in shaping the national identity of modern India, and has been lionised as a model ruler and as a national hero. Ashoka reigned over a realm that stretched from the Hindu Kush mountains in the west to Bengal in the East and covered the entire Indian subcontinent except parts of present day Tamil Nadu and Kerala, which were ruled by three ancient Tamil kingdoms. Maurya Empire was the largest empire yet seen in Indian history. The story starts with young Ashoka (Siddharth Nigam) who is getting guidance from Chanakya(Manoj Joshi)...
