The new haunting EP was produced by Tim Anderson (Solange, Sia) and both tracks ‘Strange’ and ‘Hangover’ have a subtle electronic edge, soaked with eeriness, the latter was recently added to the prestigious ‘BBC Radio 1 Introducing’ Playlist. The Strange EP features 2 exclusive remixes by San Francisco house dj/producer Justin Martin and Detroit techno/house musician and owner of KDJ Records Moodymann.
The atmospheric video for Strange was directed by George Hudson (MØ, Klaxons, Swim Deep) and filmed in London. The video reveals Charlotte’s magical and spiritual world, with a touch of Tim Burton eccentricity. Charlotte visual landscape encapsulates her obsession with beauty with darkness.
Tipped as one of the emerging stars, Charlotte’s highly acclaimed debut EP in 2013 and the remix to lead track ‘Colour My Heart’, which notched up over 2 million plays online, led to a a sting of headline tour dates this year, including mesmerising performances at T in the Park, Field Day and Dot To Dot.
