"Assignment of the Year"



The vocation of a Police Officer is

one of the least demanding jobs that one

can professionalize in when it comes to

education requirements (a GED and waivorable

felonies). These cops shows over sensationalize

the job of a police officer. Don't get us

wrong, it is not an easy job. But, naturally,

the way the job is depicted on these shows is

pretty fucking bullshit. The military deserves

way more credit than a cop. So, the next time

a cop says some bullshit (such as: I can be

killed at anytime, blah blah blah) ... just

remember, each time they roll in their car

and go home at night to their family,

nobody is actually trying to kill them.

There are a few times in an officer's career

where they may be in that level of danger, but

come on! Respect to military folks who make

way more of a "sacrifice" than these jokers

can ever hope to.
