National wanpaku sumo tournament is a competition against elementary school sumo. Wide opportunities for elementary school sumo practice, to achieve some purpose to promote the health and discipline of mind and body, which is held under the auspices of the Tokyo Junior Chamber Association Foundation and the Japan Sumo Association. The two countries moved from the Kokugikan Kuramae 1985, the first national convention and co-location of the Tokyo sumo wrestling.
