The book's title character is Danny Wormwood, a TV mogul who also happens to be the Anti-Christ. Before reading further, i warn you, this book is very antagonistic to Catholicism, so if you're offended by the likes of such, you should not read this!!

So what makes Danny different from every other Anti-Christ you've seen? Well, for starters, he's not into the whole starting-the-Apocalypse scene, he hates his father (The Devil, or Nick to his friends) and his best friend is Jesus Christ (who he calls Jay.) Actually, this Jesus is the fabled Second Coming...but things went badly this time around. See, Jesus (who is black) ended up protesting for equality at the wrong end of the LA riots and got his head caved in by an overzealous cop, leaving our messiah effectively retarded. But still he remains close friends with Wormwood, who both share the ideology of being rebellious against the plans their fathers have for them!
