DescriptionHost: George Noory Guests: Peter Davenport, Joshua P. Warren Hours 1 & 2 - Director of the National UFO Reporting Center, Peter Davenport discussed the peculiar red, orange, and yellow fireballs that have been reported in unprecedented frequency, as well as other UFO cases, and his role at the Reporting Center. He brought on a witness, "Chelsea," who described seeing along with many other campers, a cluster of orange lights that moved above the Columbia River Gorge at Beacon Rock State Park in Washington on the night of June 2nd, 2012. The lights traveled silently in a V-pattern, had something like electric sparks coming from them, and disappeared in the tree line. Davenport talked about his mission as a conduit for UFO witnesses to report what they've seen, and then to make these reports publicly available. The Internet, he pointed out, has been both a boon and a bane to ufology, generating a gargantuan amount of material that has to be sifted through and evaluated. Often with sightings, people misidentify satellites and the International Space Station as UFOs, he noted. He cited as the most dramatic UFO incidents-- the Phoenix Lights, the Travis Walton abduction, and the Todd Sees case. Hours 3 & 4 - Paranormal investigator and author Joshua P. Warren spoke about the concept of evil as it relates to ghosts, and paranormal activity. He defined evil as absolute self-centeredness, and suggested that how you view yourself is going to determine your experience of the afterlife. People that believe they've done negative things may be reluctant to move on to what they envision as some type of judgment, so they stick around the earthly plane-- that's why many of the ghostly entities we encounter are those of negative people, he explained. Joshua provided us with an infrared photo of a full-bodied apparition captured in North Carolina by Donna Long of Blue Ridge Paranormal. A woman was brutally attacked on this property. He pondered whether this could be her disturbed spirit. Warren addressed the idea of non-human apparitions, as well. We are not simply organisms on one level, and maybe there are beings that are feeding off of us, that we can't see, or only occasionally interface with, he conjectured. Sharing Widget |
