Book Reviews:I needed to take the CLEP in College Algebra to fulfill an expired pre-req for a graduate degree. I had not studied algebra in at least 15 years (since early undergrad) and I found this book to be exceptionally clear, well written, and useful. Out of all the study aids I used to prepare myself for the exam, this by far was the most helpful and thorough. Every question I encountered on the exam was covered. I don't remember algebra being so enjoyable, but I truly did like the way the material was presented here. I passed my CLEP this evening, and it's all owing to this book. Having not touched this kind of math in over six years this book was an excellent way to get me refreshed. The verbiage and examples all helped me understand what I already knew and also taught me a few new ways to approach problems that once gave me some trouble. I would strongly suggest this to anyone who needs a refresher or may be having difficulties in Algebra I and II. Sharing Widget |
