Cougar Town is an American television sitcom, which premiered on ABC on September 23, 2009. It was created by Bill Lawrence and is produced currently by ABC Studios. The series stars Courteney Cox as a 40-year-old Florida woman who recently divorced and reenters a dating scene filled with younger men while living with her 17-year old son, Travis Cobb (Dan Byrd). Now in her forties, she embarks on a journey to self-discovery whilst surrounded by fellow divorcees and singletons eager to live or re-live a time gone by.
