Over the course of a few months, Countryfile has been paying weekly visits to Adam Henson's farm in the Cotswolds to find out about the challenges of earning a living from the land.



Matt Baker joins Adam down on the farm to look back at some of the highlights of his farming calendar, and gets a progress report on some of the animals the team has met along the way.





LAMBING



Adam's flock is in the fields and almost ready for market - even the skinny ones which he had to look after back in the spring. But there are still a few young ones that need bottle feeding, so Matt lends a hand.





MEG & MILLIE



Matt’s brought his dog, Meg, along too. It's her first visit and she’s keen to show off some of her sheep-gathering skills to Adam’s new pup Millie. But will Millie be impressed?





BOVINE TB



Back in June, it was tense times for Adam when his vet was checking his cattle for Bovine TB. But now that his farm has been officially declared free of the disease he can start selling his stock again. We follow one of his young bulls on its way to market, but will it fetch a good price?





HENS & FILM STARS



We catch up with the rescue hens that Adam and his partner Charley picked up and see how they’ve settled into to their new home. And Matt gets up close and personal with Adam’s farmyard film stars.





THE GRAND TOUR



And finally, Adam and his family take Matt on a 12 mile horse ride round the farm, taking in some beautiful Cotswold countryside on the way.
