Creatures 3, Docking Station - 11 Breeds Pack [reupload] (Size: 53.35 MB)
Description
I purchased these a long time ago, and after a sad few months of losing my original files and realising I was unable to re-purchase them, I found a backup CD and so here are the 10 Official Creatures 3/Docking Station norn breeds, and 1 Official Grendel breed for anyone else who is in the same boat I was!

Astro Norn The Lone Shee created the Astro Norns from a ChiChi Norn genome after designing the Zebra Norns. Their fur patterns were inspired by the stars, and are designed to change over time. Banshee Grendel The Banshee Grendel Pack comes with a Banshee Egg Stone, the Mecha Grendel Toy, and improved voices for female Grendels. Did you know? The production name of the Banshee Grendels was the Brigand Grendels, and the two that beta-tester TreeSprite recieved had warped from a world named Brigand's Outpost. Bondi Norn The Bondi Norns are carefree creatures. They tend to live longer than other norns and are slow to anger. Their lack of activity means they don't need as much food as other creatures, though they do have a preference for critters. Bondi Norns are a bright sea-blue color, and inexperienced owners may confuse the genders, for the males have long, blonde, curly hair (just like a surfie at Bondi), while the females have a simple tuff of ginger hair atop their heads. This breed is packed with a Crobster maker (a delightful machine that produces crab-like critters called Crobsters for your norns to eat), a Didgeridoo (a new musical instrument) and a Giant Beach Ball for all your norns to play with. As the Bondi Norn Story indicates, the Lone Shee stumbled upon an alternative Albia one day while exploring the Warp, where he discovered a tropical paradise and its beach-loving inhabitants, the Bondi norns. The lack of grendels in the area had allowed the Bondis to evolve into a lazy but peaceful breed. Intrigued, the Lone Shee took a few eggs and toys back to the Capillata for further analysis. The Lone Shee dubbed the strange Albia Bondi, which is supposedly a Shee term for, "Jolly nice place for a holiday, but not a sign of tea or cookies to be found." Fallow Norn The Fallow Norn Story explains how the Lone Shee was tired of modifying genes and decided to go for a trip in the Warp. He encounters a large wooden hunting-style hall filled with mounted Fallow Norn heads, and takes some home to duplicate just before almost getting caught by two Banshee Grendels. Hardman Norn The Hardman are a rather violent breed of norns, preferring to strut about the Jungle Terrarium beating up grendels (and each other, if the wrong buttons are pushed). Both genders are a tawny color, though females have red hair and ruffs of fur around their wrists and ankles (males have blonde hair). The breed is bundled with Calm Balm (a potion that helps "ease angry thoughts"), the Mecha-Grendel (a robotic grendel that the norns can punch to their hearts' content), Chilli Pepper Pots (a new food for your creatures to enjoy) and Awkwood Creeper (a plant that grows in various places in the Norn Meso and Jungle Terrarium and dispenses yummy seeds for your creatures to eat). Although said to be grendel slayers, there are a few breeds (such as Edash's Demonic Grendels) that can easily defeat a hardman in a one-on-one fight. Harlequin Norn Harlequin Norns were created by the Lone Shee - they are basically just ChiChi Norns with amusing fur patterns. However, they got laughed at by the Magma Norns, so the Lone Shee sent them out into the Warp to find a place of their own. Magma Norn These norns are especially fond of heat, so keep them where it's warm! The Desert Terrarium in Creatures 3 is a perfect place for these creatures. The Lone Shee warps back to Albia to check up on the state of things. He finds it mostly desolate, although the ettins have effected some repairs. However, grendels have taken over and of the norn eggs that had been stockpiled, only one norn remains alive, both through lack of food and predation by grendels. The Lone Shee rescues this norn and takes it back to the Capillata. Given the inconsistency between this story and the Creatures 2 story (where six eggs were waiting for the Hand), it is possible that the Lone Shee was, once more, in an alternate reality. Or maybe the Hands are. Or there may have been more than one stockpile of eggs. Siamese Norn Looking for more information on the Banshee Grendels he had found while recovering the Fallow Norn genome, the Lone Shee ventures once more into the Warp. He finds a shadowy world filled with the creatures; however, they do not react to his presence. He also finds a group of bedraggled Siamese Norns locked up in a cage, and teleports them back with him. Toxic Norn The Treehugger Norns are, as their name might imply, the most peaceful of the norns, with a liking for plants and disdain for overcrowding. They're rather susceptible to disease; however, the Panatreea Potion that comes with them makes taking care of them much easier. As described in the Treehugger Norn Story, they come with the Quirky Cookie Machine which can create a variety of tasty cookies. They also come with their very own Random Teleporter, the dandelion-like Popping Pappus plant, and a Cuddly Tree doll. You can only buy the Treehugger Norn Pack (down) at the Gameware Creatures Mall. You could previously buy the Zebra Norns at the Gameware Creatures Mall, but they are now available as a free download from Creature Labs. Sharing WidgetScreenshots |
