Episode 7 of the 2013 CNN series, Crimes of the Century, that examines the still-controversial 1993 FBI siege of the Branch Davidian compound in Waco, Texas, USA. After a botched attempt by the ATF to arrest the Davidian leader, David Koresh, a gun fight ensues. It results in the death of four ATF agents and five Branch Davidians. The FBI takes charge of operations of what became a 51-day standoff. It ends with the inferno destruction of the compound and the death of the remaining 77 Davidians, including women and children. The series narrates with a bias in favor of law enforcement when answering two questions involved in the siege: Who fired the first shot? and Who set the compound on fire?
