If the resolution of your cs 1.6 is not satisfactory, try putting the following line in the Properties of the shortcut from your Cs 1.6 on the desktop. Add "-game cstrike-fullscreen-w 1280-h 800-d3d" without quotes in target that is on Properties of the shortcut. Like this:

before: "C: Program Files (x86) Valve hl.exe"
after: "C: Program Files (x86) Valve hl.exe"-game cstrike-fullscreen-w 1280-h 800-d3d

You can configure the resolutions-1280 w (width) and 800-h (height) to the appropriate resolutions for your screen.

antes: "C:Program Files (x86)Valvehl.exe"
depois: "C:Program Files (x86)Valvehl.exe" -game cstrike -fullscreen -w 1280 -h 800 -d3d

Você pode configurar as resoluções -w 1280 (largura) e -h 800 (altura) para as resoluções adequadas para sua tela.
