Cyclick Samples - Metal on Metal [WAV | NKI]_Sin

It's gone a bit Kling Klang here at Sandpit Studio with soundscapes of an
entirely metallic nature. The bulk of the sample set has been created from
real metals samples - iron railings, pots and pans, hammers, etc. These were
loaded as samples and heavily processed through plugins and an outboard
chain consisting of the Kurzweil K2600r (using the infamous KDFX effects
engine – no plugin can touch this for sheer programming depth), the ProVLA
compressor and JDK R24 EQ to finish. The five metal percussion kits were
used to create the rhythm loops across seven tempos (95, 100, 120, 125, 130,
140 &170bpm) as well as the corresponding folders of hits and Kontakt instruments.

To add a little tonality alongside all the clatter are three metallic synth
multisamples created from a variety of oscillations, ring modulations, frequency
modulations, flanges, choruses, reverbs and some truly odd effects buried in the
belly of the K2600. Two of these instruments have been used to create a set of
arpeggiated loops within the tempo loop folders.

The multisamples have sustain loops embedded in the WAV files where appropriate.
The Kontakt instruments all have a highpass filter assigned to the Mod Wheel
(MIDI CC#01) and a lowpass assigned to MIDI CC#74.
