Cyclick Samples - Warehouse Techno [WAV | NKI] -Sin

This collection offers and armoury of drum hits (294) and loops layers (64 per tempo) for the darker, dirtier
sounds of Warehouse Techno. The loops have been split into their component layers to mixed as you please
- there's plenty of scope for further processing and chopping. All the hits used have been captured and set
aside in the Drum Hits folder, which is augmented with Kontakt .nki patches for each drum type (kick, snare,
clap, etc.). The Kontakt instruments, which are compatible with version 5, have also been pulled together
into a multi-instrument .nkm to quickly select through them in a project. Again, the sounds haven't been
taken too far down the effects road (i.e. bit crushing/distortion, filtering, reverb/delay) so they can be given
extra juice by you.

The loops and hits were created from layering hits from the Cyclick Archive and outputting them in groups
(kick, snare, hihats, etc.) to analogue outboard for a bit of extra treatment. The kicks were pushed through a
pair of Classic API VP26 500 series preamps and dialled in for a bit of harmonic distortion and hardness.
The hi hats and cymbals were EQ'ed with the Arsenal Audio R24 and Trident-MTA Signature Two to cut
away any unnecessary clanks and thumps. The other layers were treated to compression via the G-SSL,
ART ProVLA, DPR402, Alesis 3630 and DBX166XL. Plugin processing preceded the analogue stages to set
the essential tone through a variety of filters, distortions, modulations, reverbs and delays – the main
offenders are listed below. The loops and hits were recorded and edited in two main batches, A and B, and
are labelled as such.

The drum hits have all been programmed into Kontakt instruments (version 5). The instruments all have a
highpass filter assigned to the Mod Wheel (MIDI CC#01)and a lowpass assigned to MIDI CC#74.
