When Young-Mi (Ha Ji-Won) was a child, her mother told her a beautiful story about first love. She was surrounded by love of her parents and she has flutters about having her first love. Suddenly, her parents die. After that, she goes through difficulties, but someone seems to always give her help. That mysterious benefactor is Daddy Long Legs to her.
With the help of Daddy Long Legs, Young-Mi fulfills her dream of becoming a writer and works at a broadcasting station. She is able to live in a nice apartment and lives with her friend Jong-Jong (Shin Yi). One day, Young-Mi happens to see her ideal guy. The man is Joon-Ho (Yeon Jeong-Hun) who works in the reference room at the broadcasting station. She then continuously encounters the man again.
