Dami Im - Dami Im (2013)

DAMI IM’s has taken out The X Factor title for 2013. Her self-titled debut album features re-recorded studio tracks of some of her incredible performances on the show including ‘Roar,’ ‘Purple Rain’ and ‘Wrecking Ball,’ as well as the winning single, ‘Alive.’ ‘Alive’ was written by Australia’s premium songwriting duo, Anthony Egizii and David Musumeci aka DNA Songs. The pair has written numerous multi-platinum singles including Samantha Jade’s ‘What You’ve Done To Me,’ Reece Mastin’s ‘Good Night,’ and Timomatic’s ‘If Looks Could Kill’.



24 year old Queenslander DAMI IM shocked the judges in her audition for The X Factor, performing a beautiful rendition of Mariah Carey’s ‘Hero.’ However, her journey abruptly ended after “Super Boot Camp” when she was told she had not made it in to the Top 24. Fortunately, Dami was brought back into the competition in time for “Home Visits,” and was consequently handpicked by her mentor Dannii Minogue as part of her Top 3 and the Final 12. Dami went on to deliver some of the greatest performances of the season.
