The new album of Daniel Lohues called D and has appeared on February 21. The same tour of more than seventy performances full of new stories, songs from the past and new songs, it is across the country to hear from February to July and see. Ticket sales have started.

In his new show will Daniel Lohues songs from his new, fifteenth album, as well as a selection of songs from his oeuvre been heard. The new CD contains a selection of the songs that Daniel wrote the last few months in hotel rooms while traveling, but also back to the stove in Erica. "The songs are about friendship and love. About life in the countryside, and that you always 'yourself' already. The album was recorded in various places, like the songs were written in different places. " says Lohues.

Recording took place at home in Erica Daniel, Brussels, Amsterdam and Spaarnwoude. Again this year along with his music friends Guus Strijbosch (bass) and Bernard Gepken (guitar and other stringed instruments). Besides the music coming into the theater, new stories and experiences, adventures and funny memories, insights into the process of making songs, stories about where things come from and relativistic consolation over. And all in front of Daniel as typical way of looking at the world. Although he sees himself very differently.

Daniel Lohues received for his work so far include awards as a Silver Harp, Edison, Annie MG Schmidt prize, he became Honorary Citizen of the municipality of Emmen, received the Cup Coach price and the Cultural Prize of East Netherlands.
