Bradbery was born in League City, Texas to Gloria Ann (née Redden) Martinez and Danny Keith Bradbery. She has an older sister Monica Bradbery and an older step sister, Lauren Hubbard. She has three younger halfbrothers, Drew Martinez, Drake Martinez, and Collin Bradbery. Her step parents are Mark Martinez and Sharon (née Hubbard) Bradbery. She currently attends Cypress Ranch High School.
Prior to The Voice, Bradbery claimed she had never sung to a big crowd before; but she has commented that she used to sing in front of her mirror.
The Voice (U.S. season 4)
At Blind Auditions, Bradbery performed Taylor Swift's "Mean", turning three chairs, Usher, Blake Shelton, and Adam Levine on March 25, 2013. Bradbery then chose Blake and remained on his team. During the Top 10 Playoffs round, Bradbery sang a rendition of "Heads Carolina, Tails California", which became the first song of the season to chart the iTunes Top 10 charts, multiplying her vote count for that round by ten. She was the only contestant to reach the top 10 on iTunes in that round. Bradbery has the most Peak Positions for her music this season. She also has the most singles to reach the Top 10 on iTunes ahead of The Swon Brothers in second and Michelle Chamuel in third. She was the youngest and first country artist to win the competition.
