Days of our Lives - Prime Time Special - One Stormy Night - 1992 avi

One Stormy Night was the first primetime special for Days of Our Lives. It aired before the Soap Opera Digest Awards and gave new viewers a look at the popular soap. Many new aspects were added to the show specifically for the primetime audience. Rather than using the traditional hourglass opening credits, each actor was featured by name as primetime shows typically do. The show was produced on film, rather than video tape, again, making it more like a nighttime series, than daytime. While the storyline followed the current interactions of the characters in daytime, it was meant to also serve as a \"stand-alone\" episode for new viewers. Therefore, it was created to provide lots of introductions to key relationships, while hooking viewers to tune in on the subsequent Monday. One Stormy Night aired January 10, 1992 and featured many characters, but only two storylines were truly affected by the events of that night. The Bo/Carly/Lawrence triangle was kicked into high gear and Jack and Jennifer Horton conceived a child.
