DescriptionDAZ3D & Poser ~ The Hidden Waterfalls Fills a request from DerP Description: Over thousands of years, running water has carved its niche through the limestone bedrock of the escarpment. Massive slabs of limestone lay where they dropped at the base of the twin waterfalls carved by the river. The Lower Falls are bracketed on one side by a cliff face that dominates the rocky terrain. If you look carefully, the entrance of a hidden cave can be glimpsed behind the cascading waters. This versatile and realistic landscape can work with fantasy, medieval, western, contemporary and post apocalyptic scenes, not to mention for showcasing nature itself. A set of six sedimentary rocks are included, a massive weathered limestone slab that looks great from any angle, as well a sculpted dead tree prop that sits precariously close to the rocky cliff edge overlooking the torrential flow. Hiding the water elements provides you with rocky inhospitable terrain and exposes the difficult to access cave entrance. Divided into modular sections, these intricately sculpted and textured terrain pieces fit together to form a rugged natural landscape full of nooks and crannies to explore and render. Sections can be easily hidden for camera placement and made invisible when not in view to increase processing speed. All told, the upper falls and lower falls scene are made up of over 200,000 polies. (Composite rendering techniques are recommended on slower machines) Works with Poser 6+ and Daz Studio 3.1.1.73 and beyond. The entire scene is also divided into the UPPER FALLS and LOWER FALLS areas that can be loaded separately, to reduce poly counts for more localized renders. There are multiple camera presets included to get you moving around the entire environment quickly. Light presets for Poser, D|S and a Reality Sun are included. Refer to the readme file and product wiki for more information, hints and technique to take advantage of the water effects to their full potential.
