Led by Frankie Gavin (fiddle) and Alec Finn (guitar, bouzouki) with an ever-changing line-up of other musicians and singers, De Dannan (after the legendary Irish tribe, Tuatha Dé Danann) exemplify a band who stick closely to their traditional roots but aren’t afraid from time to time to go out on a flyer!

Song For Ireland was released on the Sugar Hill label. Mary Black contributes the stunning vocals that have made her famous, and the instrumentals have even more energy than usual.
