Around two years back in 2011 I had experience of pure self. I wanted to share it with people but after communicating with friends I understood that it is necessary to explain in detail what I mean to say. Therefor I started writing my first book describing experience of Consciousness in detail in 2012. It took me more than one year to complete that book. I think it is very well designed to help readers understand the point which I want to state. What's the story behind your latest book? AS I told in previous answer it was the first time experience of pure Consciousness that encouraged me to write a my first book. The story behind it is pretty simple, if you want to have experience of soul then follow the system mentioned in book from heart and you will get rooted in your own self. What motivated you to become an indie author? Nothing, I never thought to become an indie author, I just started writing. After completing my first book I understood that it does not have much market value because of its genre and complicated subject. It was sheer waste of time to go to publishers and ask them to publish my book. Plus in the area where I live English is not main language so it was more difficult to find one publisher for my English book. So I decided to move forward bypassing the whole subject of traditional publishing and write and publish my books on my own. How has Smashwords contributed to your success? Can't say right now because I am not a successful as an author yet. But definitely smashwords has provided me a platform which can help me to reach readers throughout the world. What is the greatest joy of writing for you? Writing in itself a joyful experience for me. When I start writing I get more and more ideas about explaining the issue about which I am writing. It is certainly helpful to learn and discover deeper into the subject matter. What do your fans mean to you? My fans are my friends. In fact any person that is interested in spirituality is my friend no matter he is my fan or my critique. A critique is also helping me to fine tune my logic about the truth. And I am thankful to people who appreciate my work and become my fan. I hope my books will be useful for them in their own spiritual growth and maturity. What are you working on next? Since my first book is complete and published through smashwords, now I don't have to worry about it any more. If people like it then it will find its own ways to more people. So I am currently working on a big project - Explaining the Bhagavad Gita. So many people have already explained it in many ways but I am trying to do it in my way so the readers who find my style helpful to them can enjoy this marvelous book in detail. To explain Gita is a very difficult task because Sanskrit words in it can be interpreted in many ways. I am trying to explain translating Lord Krishna's own words without adding much into it of my own. I hope after its completion readers will find it most logical explanation of Bhagavad Gita until now Who are your favorite authors? Of course my favorite authors are spiritual authors. Osho is at no one in my list of favorite authors. Second is Adi Shankaracharya, because of his brilliance and unmatched glory. What inspires you to get out of bed each day? I am not living out of any inspiration or motivation. I don't need one. When my sleep is over and my body feels refreshed then I just get out of bed out of joy and energy. I try to create something useful for myself and others. When you're not writing, how do you spend your time? I am not a full time writer. I have to do other work also to keep my body alive. I am an accountant by profession and do a job for 8 hours a day. After my work is done then I get some time to write. So writing is my part time hobby and not a full time job. How do you discover the ebooks you read? Discovering ebooks is simple. If I know name of the book in advance then I just search it on Google. For new books I visit various spiritual sites and find their database for anything that looks attractive. Published 2013-12-02.
