Default Folder X 4.6 supports Mavericks tags and addresses a number of important compatibility issues.

What's new in Default Folder X 4.6?:
Mavericks tags are now supported in addition to OpenMeta tags.
Worked around a bug in Mavericks that caused Default Folder X Agent to use ridiculous amounts of memory.
Corrected an issue that could put Default Folder X’s bezel on-screen even when a file dialog wasn’t active.
Fixed a problem that could cause the “Are you sure?” dialog to pop up off-screen when you moved an item to the Trash.
Resolved a problem that could cause Save dialogs in MS Office 2011 applications to appear behind the document being saved.
Tags are correctly preserved when you Save As over an existing file.
Default Folder X’s contextual menus are back.
Fixed the popup tag suggestion window in Save dialogs so that it pops up above Default Folder X’s controls.
Default Folder X now correctly respects the modifier settings you’ve set in your preferences for the click-to-copy feature.
Fixed the hierarchical path menu at the top of file dialogs so it correctly goes to the “computer” folder when you select that item in the menu.
Fixed the sizing of Default Folder X’s bezel around some Open dialogs, including those in QuickTime Player.
File dialogs that appear as sheets are now recognized as sheets in sandboxed applications.

Dragging files to and from iCloud in an Open or Save dialog now works correctly.
If you open a Mail attachment, the recent folder list will no longer show the uselessly named folder that contains it, but will show the “Mail Attachments” folder instead.
The “Done” button in Default Folder X's tagging window is now red to attract more attention to it.
Fixed a visual glitch that made Default Folder X's bezel off by one pixel in Mavericks.
