This work is mini autobiography of Bulgarian Ilia Delef who left Europe after World War II and eventually settled in Brazil where he amassed one of the largest--both in number and size--quartz crystal collections in the world. Deleff explains his fascination with and love for giant quartz crystals, and how many are now part of museum collections around the world. There is also a brief section on other Brazilian minerals.
