Information to Recover the System to Its Factory Condition
Recover the system to its original factory condition is a straightforward process with few interactive requirements. The Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition and Microsoft Windows XP Professional Edition setup procedures are slightly different. In order to format and install Windows, the Recovery CD that was included with the system is needed.

Note:
The below procedure will leave the computer working with the Operating System installed, but the device drivers (chipset, video card, sound card, etc.) will still require to be installed.
Use Alien Respawn for an all-in-one installation of the computer which includes Operating System, device drivers, and basic programs.

Step 1: Backup important files and data

Use Windows XP Files & Settings Transfer Wizard To Backup Files & Data

The Files & Settings Transfer Wizard will automatically collect and save the files in your My Documents folder, including your Music, Pictures and Videos folders. Additionally, the wizard will collect and save the files on your desktop and in your Shared Documents and Shared Desktop folders (if more than one person share files on different user accounts on your computer).

Important:
Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools and click Files & Settings Transfer Wizard.
Select Old Computer and click Next.
This selection will specify that this is the computer you want to back up your important files and settings from. The wizard may take a moment to prepare for the next step.
Select your transfer method, from one of the following selections:
Floppy drive or other removable media (Recommended) - select this option if you have a USB memory key, USB hard drive, CD or DVD writable drive and blank discs.
Other - select this option if you are on a home network and can save your files to another computer or shared network drive.
Once selected, click Next.
Select Files Only and click Next.
The wizard will begin collecting and saving your files to the specified location. If you specified a removable drive, the wizard may prompt you to enter an additional blank disc if more than one is necessary to hold all your files. Be sure to label your discs thoroughly (such as "My Files Disc 1" etc.) so you can quickly restore them later.
Once completed, click Finish to close the wizard. You are now ready to proceed with the next step.

System requirements:
* Pentium 233-megahertz (MHz) processor or faster (300 MHz is recommended).
* At least 64 megabytes (MB) of RAM (128 MB is recommended).
* At least 1.5 gigabytes (GB) of available space on the hard disk .
* Video adapter and monitor with Super VGA (800 x 600) or higher resolution.

English This CD does not require you to enter a Product Key as it is an OEM version
designed for your systems.
NOTE: This CD will NOT work on other brands of computers without a valid Product Key.
NOTE: You will still need to download the specific "drivers" for your system!!
