it's not fake, it's just not that great an upload
useforstuff
when in doubt use something like VLC - then check the codec info and Google how to convert. in this case it is MPEG AAC (m4a).
so, like on poster said, you can just rename the files *.m4a and you should be good to go with most audio players (or again, just use vlc - though it isn't much of an audio player in spite of how awesome it is for videos).
