Story:

Srikanth's Devaraya Telugu Movie - This is a socio-fantasy movie. This is based on the life of Sri Krishnadevaraya. Here Srikanth has played multiple roles like a village person Dora Babu as well as Devaraya.Vidisha, Meenakshi Deekshit are in the lead roles opposite to Srikanth.

Srikanth (Dora babu) is a village boy who believes in enjoying life. He falls in love with Swapna (Vidisha). She also loves Srikanth as well. Sivaji Raja acts as a archaeologist here. He discovers some items belonging to Sri Kirshna Devaraya in Godavari delta area. Then he decides to investigate on the matter of Sri Krishna Devaraya. He tries to translate the diary which belongs to the Sri Krishna Devaraya. Then in this process everyone discovers that Dorababu has a connection with Lord Krishna Devaraya. What is the connection? You will find in theatres.

Analysis:

Director Nani Krishna has connected a present day incident to the historical backdrop of Krishnadevaraya. The first half of the film has a little story. Here we wil find lot of comedy, action and romantic songs.The movie takes a serious mode in the second half and climax is simply superb. A special mention of costumes and artwork should be made as they look really gorgeous. Some visual effects and a few scenes from Krishna Devaraya’s court have been shot well. Many areas of the movie srikanth imitates Megastar Chiranjeevi and Sr.NTR.

Performances:

Srikanth has tried to do justice to both roles like Dora Babu and Devaraya.His dialogue delivery is also good. Meenakshi dixit,Vidisha have filled the glamour slot and will impress you in dance sequences. Jai Prakash Reddy, MS Narayana, Raghu Karumanchi, Ranganath and Sivaji have also done justice to their roles.

Technalities:

Nani Krishna’s direction is ok. Screen Play is not good. Cinematography is ok. Veerababu’s dialogues are not good. Chakri's music and background score are the main highlight in the technical front.Production values are just average.
