Thanks AVI guy, nice one, also agree with previous comments. What i find so annoying is when avi's are unsupported for conversion to dvd, unlike yours which are spot on. so thanks again

That you can convert this to DVD is either dumb luck or my basics are sound. Maybe it's the XVID, maybe it's the number and arrangement of the pixels.

The math for superstitions unknown is fairly clear and 624x352 or 720x404 are just plain wrong. There is a video standard (you can get monitors) 2560x1440 (adds up to 4,000) and you know 1920x1280 (adds up to 3,000) and of course 1280x720 (adds up to 2,000). So, it just seemed reasonable to make mine 640x360 (adds up to 1,000). XVID, Image size or just the mp3 being as "universal" as I could get. Tried more esoteric things and the tiny percentage that were disappointed rent my heart asunder.\n

It's called "The Scene" and it's where (almost) all our video originates.

They mandated MP4 back in February and enforced it for RGs a couple months later.\n

And there's no hint that they listen to anyone outside their own little sandbox.\n

It's a benign dictatorship - benign, sure, but still a monopoly.\n
