De G8-top is ten einde en in de Diaz Pascoli School in Genua, die werd ingericht als
sociaal forum voor journalisten, zijn de jongeren in een goed humeur ondanks de
gewelddadige botsingen die de voorbije dagen plaatsvonden met de politie. Zoals ook
het geval was in andere landen gedurende hetzelfde jaar, worden de protesten van de
anti-globaliseringsbeweging ook hier ontvangen met zware politie inzet. Kort na
middernacht bestormde de politie de school op en werden de jongeren gedurende twee
uur aangevallen tot ze haast allen in het ziekenhuis belandden of werden weggevoerd
naar een detentiecentrum. Om hun daden te rechtvaardigen, verstopte de politie
Molotov-cocktails in het schoolgebouw. Tegen het einde van de G8-top verloor zelfs
één persoon het leven.

anarchists of the Black Bloc) try to prevent the G8 summit from taking place in Genoa.
The authorities, determined not to let them achieve their aim, give a free hand to
the anti-riot police in the matter of repression. The Police superintendent decides a
nighttime raid upon the Diaz school, used as a sleeping quarter and a center for
those providing media, medical, and legal support work. The film tells about the
ordeal put through by all those who slept or worked there, courtesy of the barbarous
Police forces, complete with furious baton attacks and shameless humiliation
following arrests.
