March 14, 2008 — Fast Track Ultra Now Supported The M-Audio Fast Track® Ultra 8 x 8 audio/MIDI interface is now officially qualified with Pro Tools M-Powered 7.4cs3 and higher. For a list of known issues and workarounds with the Fast Track Ultra and Pro Tools M-Powered 7.4cs3. Pro Tools M-Powered 7.4cs3 or higher is required for M-Powered support of the M-Audio Fast Track Ultra and ProFire 2626. Please Note: If you have previously installed 7.4cs3, there is no need to download 7.4cs3 again. Software components required to use the Fast Track Ultra and ProFire 2626 with Pro Tools M-Powered were already included in the Pro Tools M-Powered 7.4cs3 release posted on February 29, 2008. The original Pro Tools M-Powered 7.4cs3 software installer has not changed. Installation Instructions To update to Pro Tools M-Powered 7.4cs3: 1. Verify Pro Tools M-Powered 7.4 is installed on your system. 2. Quit the Pro Tools application if it is open. 3. Locate the Pro Tools M-Powered 7.4cs3 installer and launch it. 4. Follow the onscreen instructions to install Pro Tools M-Powered 7.4cs3. 5. When installation is complete, restart your computer. If you have installed previous updates, some file versions may not change.
