Description:

Built by Codemasters and road tested over 60 million miles by the DiRT community, DiRT Rally is the ultimate rally experience. It captures the essence of what makes rally unique like no other game – that sense of trying to remain in control of your emotions, as you hurtle along dangerous, undulating roads at breakneck speed, aiming to squeeze everything out of your car whilst knowing that one crash could irreparably harm your stage time.

Every stage tests you differently, as you race on the edge of control across varying surfaces in a range of environments such as snow, ice, tarmac and dirt and as you tackle a variety of weather types. As the car suffers attrition, you need to account for mechanical damage whilst your dedicated rally team tries to keep you competitive with time-limited repairs. Stages string together and each rally becomes a marathon-like test of concentration and skill as you trust in your co-driver, chasing that ever-elusive perfect run.

DiRT Rally also includes officially licensed World Rallycross content, allowing you to experience the breathless, high-speed thrills of some of the world’s fastest off-road cars as you trade paint with other drivers at some of the series best-loved circuits, in both singleplayer and high-intensity multiplayer races.

Selective Download

English voiceovers are build-in with main files and used for lossless restoraion of other languages.

You can skip downloading of other language files and/or movies you don't need. Here is the list of selective files:

• setup-fitgirl-optional-videos.bin (tutorial movies, animated menu background, attract intro)

• setup-fitgirl-selective-french.bin

In example, if you want to launch the game with German UI/Subtitles/Voiceovers - skip all "selective" files,
but download setup-fitgirl-selective-german.bin & all main files (01-10).

Optional videos archive

- Tutorial movies cover many aspects of the game, so they can be useful for novices
- Background video is pretty useless, and when absent is replaced with moving pictures by game engine
- Attract intro is a short advertising shown before you press any key after the launch - also pretty useless

Backwards Compatibility

Due to a large amount of new/changed files, this repack IS NOT COMPATIBLE with my previous repack of DiRT Rally.

Problems during installation?

If you experience errors (Xdelta or Unarc ones) during installation, try the following things:

• Make sure your Windows username doesn't contain non-latin symbols. Use only latin characters & numbers
  
• Re-hash torrent (in Utorrent point to the game entry, stop download/upload, then click right mouse button, then click "Force Re-check")
  
• Disable antivirus, it can delete installation files or cracks on-the-fly
  
• Make sure you have at least as two times more virtual memory, than actual, physical RAM
  
• Make sure you have enough space on target drive & on C: drive (or whatever system drive you have)
  
• Try install the game NOT to C: (system) drive OR specifically to C: drive (Windows rights system is a tricky thing)
  
• Check your Windows folder (and below) for unarc.dll - if this file exists, delete it
  
• Run setup with proper rights, as shown on this image:
